Stage 3 had the best day at Longneck Lagoon. Students participated in hands on activities to learn about different creepy crawlers in the environment. Some of these activities included, bush walking at finding out the local Aboriginal words for animals, dip netting for tadpoles and other aquatic life as well as looking at them under microscopes. Everybody was amazed and at times freaked out by the little caterpillars hanging from silks all around the area. It was a fantastic day and great opportunity to complete hands on Science investigates.
