Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Incursion and excursion fee

Our school community in 2014 agreed that an incursion/excursion fee be introduced for the 2015 school year, which continues today. The fee of $100 per child provides incursions and an excursion throughout the year for every child in Kindergarten to Year 6. This fee is a one time payment, families are not asked to pay for additional incursions throughout the year. This payment includes all extra curricula activities in one school year.

2018 Incursions and excursion include:

  • Cool Kids Music Company (10 week program)
  • Yoga (9 week program)
  • Gymnastics (8 week program)
  • Obstacool
  • Live theatre at the Joan
  • Life education
  • Insects in our classrooms
  • Booked out author visit

Our children are provided with many other incursions throughout the year to support their journey as learners for life. We have a payment plan for all our families that is achievable to be paid throughout the school year.

Our preschool also has an incursion fee of $40 which is paid upon enrolment. This fee has paid for events such as our butterfly farm, hatching eggs and a visit from Aunty Wendy's mob.

There are some other costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for such as:

  • school uniforms
  • travel to and from school

Preschool

Our preschool offers preschool education to children intending to start Kindergarten the following school year. Fees for our preschool start from $17.50 per week.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
