Creative arts

Creative arts is mandatory for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. 

In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.

Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.

Music incursion

Students take part in a Music incursion with Music is Cool where the students learn to play the guitar, drums and keyboard. Students also spend time with our specialised creative and performing arts teacher exploring music and learning about musical concepts.

Dance Groups 

At Kingswood Park Public School we have both a junior and senior dance group which perform at the Cranebrook Learning Community Performing Arts Festival each year. 

Art Show

Kingswood Park Public School(KPPS) hosts an annual art show during our Grandparent's day celebrations. It showcases a variety of artworks from all students, Preschool to Year 6 throughout the year.
