Our preschool
Why choose our public preschool?
Wadangali Public School Preschool sits proudly on Darug land in the suburb of Penrith and we are a fee-free preschool. It’s an easy choice for local families with young children.
Wadangali Public School Preschool is a vibrant and inclusive preschool dedicated to nurturing the whole child. As a Department of Education preschool, we are committed to providing high-quality, play-based education that supports your child’s early learning skills. We embed the Dharug language into our program and daily practices to enhance children’s understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal language and culture.
Our experienced educators create a safe and welcoming environment where children feel valued and supported. We believe that learning through play is fundamental to developing creativity, problem-solving skills, risk-taking, resilience, and a love for discovery. Through carefully planned activities, children engage in hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity and foster critical thinking. Our curriculum aligns with the NSW Early Learning Years Framework to enrich children’s learning.
At Wadangali Public School preschool, we place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships with children, families, and the local community. We recognise that these connections are essential for children’s well-being and confidence. Our programs are designed to promote inclusivity and respect for diversity, ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging.
We consider our beautiful preschool environment as the third educator, with a program that fosters respect, care, and engagement with the natural environment, incorporating sustainability practices.
Our preschool is involved in all aspects of the school community, and the children are well prepared and supported to make the transition to kindergarten.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our preschool. Contact us to talk to our team, book a tour or join our waitlist.
